Agia Irini is a small beach on the west coast of Paros Island. The most iconic part of Agia Irini are the palm trees on the beach. Most of the time you will not find waves here as the beach is hidden in a bay. It is worth to see it using Google Map. Agia Irini consists of sand and it is quite narrow in some spots, because there is a small wall on the back side. During season peak, you will find many visitors here, both tourists and local people. There is a camping on the beach, just few meters away from the sand. Also, you will also find sunbeds and umbrellas here.
After few hours on the beach, you might get hungry. Therefore, you should know that, there is a tavern on the north tip of Agia Irini.
Regarding distances from the beach, Parikia is 7km away and Naoussa is 16km away.
It could be useful for you to know that Punda port is just 3km away. This is the location from where you can take a small ferry to Antiparos. You can leave your car in the port and visit this beautiful island with picturesque main city. The ride takes about 10 minutes and the ticket is very cheap.
Another option for combination of your swim in Agia Irini, is a visit to Aliki. Aliki is a unique coastal village on the south-west coast of Paros. It is recognizable by many caique boats in its bay. You will find many taverns here, which offer delicious seafood dishes. There are also cafes and a nice sandy beach.
